Personal Color

I walk with my camera everywhere, avoiding overthinking or theorizing. I observe the world, its hidden motions, rhythms, pauses and layers. I'm always looking for subtle changes between light and shadow in the urban landscape, those that pass unnoticed in daily life.

My goal is to capture the hidden beauty and unexpected patterns humans leave in their wake. Sometimes the evidence of our presence on this earth is no more than a fleeting shadow, a tableau of light, darkness, or decay on the human landscape.

I am aware this work is very close with the abstract, but not quite, because I am not looking to get lost in unrecognizable patterns or to avoid an immediate association with the world. On the contrary. I want that association to be evident, but not in the sense that it will only document reality. I want these photos to remind the viewer of that veil between dreams and reality, where what is, and emotion join together without clear borders.
